Gloria Álvarez is a political scientist, radio broadcaster, and project director at the National Civic Movement of Guatemala (MCN), an NGO that advocates for the participation of an informed, responsible, and active citizenry in national politics. She also is the host of a series of educational videos on Youtube channel of Fundación Libertad y Progreso (Freedom and Progress Foundation). In 2016, Alvarez published “El engaño populista” (“The Populist Deception”), a book that examines the consequences of populism is Latin America.

Gloria is a popular speaker appearing at major events all over the world. She will present the keynote address at LibertyFest on Friday evening 13th March. Don’t miss this special event.

Lawrence W. (“Larry”) Reed is President Emeritus of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), Humphreys Family Senior Fellow, and Ron Manners Ambassador for Global Liberty.

He is frequently interviewed on radio talk shows and has appeared as a guest on numerous television programs, including those anchored by Judge Andrew Napolitano and John Stossel on FOX Business News.
